Emma and Trevor met over mutual towards the beginning of May 2024. Emma's mom had come to visit her in Utah for a wedding and was convinced that she could help Emma find a good date. After scrolling Amy leaned over to Emma and asked, "What about this one?". Emma thought Trevor was absolutely adorable so she swiped up!
Within two weeks they went on their first date to the MOA (Museum of ART) on BYU campus. Emma had had a long day at work so she hadn't asked many questions on their first date. Somehow Trevor decided to still go on a second date with her where they bonded over their love of the gospel of Jesus Christ.
By their fifth date (which lated around 8 hours long), Trevor asked if Emma would be his girlfriend. Emma replied, "Well, I don't know, you haven't kissed me yet!" Their first kiss sealed the deal and they became officially a couple that night!
A week after the start of their relationship, Emma left Utah for almost an entire month to go to England with her family. She called Trevor every single day for at least an hour, much to her younger brother's dismay. They began to call her many phone calls and discussion with and about Trevor, "Trevor-ing".
The day that Emma finally returned to Utah was the day of their one month-iversary. After picking up Emma from the airport, they went on a picnic where Trevor told Emma he loved her for the first time. Emma was so excited to hear this and told him she loved him too as she had already planned to confess her love that day.
A couple of weeks later, Emma was able to visit and meet both Trevor's parents and some of his extended family.
At the end of August, Emma and Trevor travelled to California to spend time with her family and see Hollywood, the beach, and Disneyland together!
On September 21, 2024 Trevor asked Emma to marry him in the Springville Museum of Art! It was such a precious moment for the two of them as they reflected on their relationship.
Now they can't wait to celebrate their marriage January 4th 2024 with all of you!
